Using Simplify Writing Curriculum students will work toward becoming confident, competent writers.  Throughout the year, students will learn to write opinion pieces, informational texts, and narratives using structured strategies.  Each step, from brainstorming and drafting to revising and editing, will be modeled and practiced to build confidence and independence.  Instruction focuses on creating strong paragraphs, supporting ideas with details and evidence, and applying proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation.  The goal is for every student to grow into a thoughtful, capable writer who can clearly communicate ideas across all subject areas.
