This 4 day course is the stepping stone to Algebra I. Focus will be on mastering such concepts as operations with real numbers, square roots, the Pythagorean theorem, slope, solving equations and inequalities. Time will also be spent reviewing concepts covered in Math 7 such as ratios, proportions, percents, factors and multiples, histograms, and volume and surface area.
