Students will represent and solve problems involving addition and subtraction, understand place value, measure and estimate lengths in standard units, work with time and money, represent and interpret data, work with equal groups of objects to gain foundations for multiplication, and reason with shapes and their attributes. Homework and parental involvement are required to reinforce concepts learned.
