The world in which we live is fascinating, fast-paced, dangerous, and beautiful. Therefore, geography should be exciting! In this class students will study Units 1-3, including climate, environment, the Americas, Europe and Russia. More importantly, students will learn how these features have shaped and impacted real people living in real places. One of the main goals of Middle School Geography is to prepare students for high-school social studies courses, in which a working knowledge of our planet is vitally important. Upon the completion of this course, students will be ready to face the challenges of higher-level global thinking that high school demands. Prepare to be challenged; prepare to be entertained; prepare to learn.
