Students will discover and explore topics such as the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, weather, and structure of the earth, environmentalism, the physics of motion, Newton’s Laws, gravity and astrophysics through a lab and project approach. Students will engage in hands-on experiments, interactive simulations, and group discussions to explore fundamental scientific concepts. Project-based learning will deepen the understanding of natural processes. Through these experiences, students will develop critical thinking, data analysis, and problem solving skills while making real-world connections to scientific principles. This honors course will  include an additional project with each module that may include additional problems, a brief essay or lab report. All students will be required to develop a science project for the Science Fair.
