AFM is a course that expands on Algebra II concepts, focusing on advanced polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic functions.  Students will use these functions to model and solve real-world problems involving personal finance, population growth, disease spread, and business pricing.  It is often a final math course for students not planning to enter a calculus track.  

This course prepares students for Precalculus Honors (if needed) or entry-level college math courses.
