Students will journey through the history and geography of North Carolina and other parts of the United States. Students will also travel through the three regions of the state, being introduced to the unique geographical features and culture in each region. Students will become familiar with regions of the United States with an emphasis on how the geography of each region has shaped its culture. There will be a variety of projects throughout the year to help students to be actively involved in their own learning.
