This class will involve review and expansion of basic concepts, emphasizing two-digit multiplication and division, fractions, decimals, and measuring. Regular review of basic multiplication facts will also be emphasized to help students build a strong math foundation. Students will be challenged with a curriculum that will require critical thinking through application of these operations in word problems. This will require students to not only learn the operations, but to know when it is appropriate to apply each.
