Description
This course is designed to introduce students to the Spanish language. Basic vocabulary, pronunciation, reading and writing activities are applied throughout the course. Homework, music (songs), and games will plan an important role in the development of Spanish skills. A workbook will be used for homework to practice writing skills and to reinforce vocabulary. One project will be assigned per semester to enhance the student’s knowledge of geographical and cultural aspects of Spanish speaking countries. Classes are conducted in a bilingual level. The course program objectives will be accomplished in a two-semester school year.
