(Prerequisite: Physical Science and may be taken with Biology) – This course is designed to introduce the student to the use of various scientific methods and approaches used to solve crimes occurring in the world around us. Students will be exposed to strengths and limitations associated with various testing methods. Case studies will be used to teach the students new problem-solving skills. The class will be primarily hands on and experiment driven. Upon completion of this course, students should have a new appreciation for the complexity of crime scene investigation.
