Description
In the first semester different interior design style types will be covered. Then using the style types, students will integrate space utilization, furniture placement, accessories, sketching, and personal taste. In the second semester fashion design will be covered. Questions such as, what is fashion design, what makes a style “in fashion”, and what are fashion cycles will be answered. We will learn the basics of sewing and the sewing machine. Using this information, students will design and create unique fashion items.
Supplies: 3-ring binder, graph paper, sketch book, colored pencils, 1 roll of scotch green rough surface tape, and 1 thin tip black sharpie
