Description
This class is a college-prep introductory study of life according to God’s wonderful creation. In this honors course, students will study the five kingdoms of organisms, cellular structure and functions, Mendelian genetics, evolution, and molecular biology. Class time will be used for application of Biological concepts students have studied at home including laboratory work with microscopes and animal dissections. Additional projects and research papers will be used to do in-depth studies of various concepts. All students will be required to develop and conduct a scientific project for the Science Fair.
