Description
Students will learn how to write various five paragraph essays including narrative, persuasive, expository and descriptive. Students will learn how to support arguments coherently using text evidence in literary essays. Students will also analyze four literary works in terms of themes and symbols by annotating each novel. Students will complete literary papers in MLA format based on the readings.
