Description
This course focuses on advanced literature and composition topics. Students will analyze poetry from poets such as Wordsworth, Dickinson, Frost, and Poe. Students will analyze and critique literary works, including both novel studies and short stories, and several nonfiction historical texts. Students will learn about various types of composition including position papers and responses to literature.
Books: Below are the links to purchase each novel for English. A new copy of each novel is required. The purpose is for class unity and for students to be able to annotate while studying each novel:
