Description
This course focuses on advanced literature and composition. Students will analyze literary works including an American play and a European novel. Students will learn various types of composition, including narrative and descriptive essays. In addition, practical writing such as resume and cover letter preparation will be covered. This Honors course will focus on preparing literacy analyses of student essays pertaining to the literature. By the end of the course, students will be able to construct an independent literary analysis.
Books: Below are the links to purchase each novel for English. A new copy of each novel is required. The purpose is for class unity and for students to be able to annotate while studying each novel:
