Description
Students will learn how to write various five paragraph essays including narrative, persuasive, expository, and descriptive. Students will learn how to organize and communicate ideas concisely and coherently using topic sentences, supporting details, and transitional devices. Students will also analyze four literary works, including science fiction, short stories, adventure, and a Shakespearean play. Students will complete papers/projects based on the readings.
