Description
Students will study literary elements, including main idea, cause and effect, fact or opinion, inference, prediction, setting, etc. They will explore different forms of literature, including historical fiction, realistic fiction, and fantasy. We will look for deeper meanings in the text and explore the texts implications. We will also make real world connections to the stories we read. Spelling and grammar are not the focus of this class but will be modeled.
