Description
This class will involve a review and expansion of basic concepts, emphasizing place value, multiplication, division, decimals, fractions, percents, geometry, probability and integers. The goal of the class will be to help students become flexible thinkers who are comfortable with the content areas of math and able to apply their learning to problem-solving situations. A combination of group practice, individual practice, games and activities will be used to teach and reinforce concepts taught throughout the year.
