Algebra I Online (9-10)

This course will involve the mastery of various math concepts including operations with real numbers, solving equations and inequalities, polynomials, exponential operations, factoring, functions, systems of equations and inequalities, scatter plots, linear equations, and quadratic equations.

Algebra II Honors Online (10-12)

(Prerequisite: Algebra I & Geometry. Grace Academy teacher or director will determine placement for this course.) – This course is a more in-depth study of the Algebra II curriculum with a faster pace and comprehensive understanding of the concepts.

Algebra II Online (10-12)

(Prerequisite: Algebra I & Geometry) – This course includes a review and expansion of Algebra I concepts, irrational and complex numbers, quadratic equations, functions, and problem solving.

American Government/Economics Online (11-12)

(Prerequisite: American History) – Students will develop an understanding of government and economics through a study of our founding documents, the Constitution of the United States, the government of foreign countries and our government at the national, state and local levels. Studies on our great leaders, important events, world-changing legislation and social programs will add texture to the course content.

American History I Online (9-10)

Students will study the story of America from a Christian world-view beginning with the pre-colonization period through the Civil War Era. This course will cover the historical facts of our history as well as how God has moved in our nation.

American History II Online (10-11)

Students will continue the story of America from a Christian world-view, beginning with the Reconstruction era.  This course will cover the historical facts of our history as well as how God has moved in our nation.

Anatomy/Physiology Honors Online (11-12)

(Prerequisite: Biology and Chemistry) This course is designed as an introductory course to the human body. The objective of this course is to integrate the study of the structures of the human body with their functions. A systematic approach will be used to study the 11 systems of the human body. This course includes online labs.

Biology Online (9-10)

This course provides a detailed introduction to the concepts, methods, and application of general biology. Emphasis is placed on practical understanding of the vocabulary of biology. This course includes online labs and virtual dissections.

Chemistry Online (11-12)

(Prerequisite: Algebra I & II, Biology & Earth Science) – This physical science course gives high school students a foundation in Chemistry. Students will learn about the chemical make-up of their world through laboratory experiments. Problem skills are emphasized in this course.

Consumer Math Online (9-12)

This practical course will cover topics such as buying a car, budgeting, banking, investing, keeping tax records, purchasing a home, food, and clothing.

Earth/Physical Science Online (9-10)

Students will discover and explore topics such as the atmosphere, the hydrosphere, weather, structure of the earth, environmentalism, the physics of motion, Newton’s Laws, gravity, and astrophysics.
